Places of worship in America

There is much talk about permissions to building a mosque near ground zero. On the one hand religious discrimination is stupid but on the other hand places of worship are ever on the increase in America. I really wish America had not been dragged in to murky religious disputes. Its a waste of time and I miss the 90's America when people would think a moslem had something to do with Buddha maybe.
