Amazon.com is among the few good news in today's US economy. The companies from Seattle have preserved the interesting qualities of old America (from a decade back). Even the alumni from the schools of Seattle achieve quite a bit without creating much ado about nothing. The bay area companies on the other hand are boisterous and have a pack mentality of spreading slander and gossip about competition.
